This MGB, registered in 1974 is an original chrome bumper model and is an extremely attractive example in excellent condition with a high specification and which drives superbly.
The MGB is arguably one of the most loved British sports cars ever produced. It was launched in 1962 and production carried on until 1980 with a number of variants along the way. The MG we have for sale is one of the last of the chrome bumper cars, and as such is far prettier than the rubber bumper models which followed.
The car is resplendent in metallic Nightfire Red with a black leather interior. It has been the beneficiary of much restoration work over the years, including extensive bodywork, a full repaint and new interior trim. There is documented history dating back to 1987.
The specification includes overdrive, new chrome wire wheels, walnut dashboard and console, a Moto-lita steering wheel, electric windows, luggage rack, new PVC hood, immobiliser and eared spinners. Various sensible upgrades have been carried out and these include a stage 2 cylinder head, K&N air filter, adjustable Koni shock absorbers, stainless exhaust and a Kenlowe fan.
This MGB will come fully checked over and freshly serviced by our workshop.
